The 21st IEEE Interregional NEWCAS Conference will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, on June 26 – 28, 2023. The program of the conference will be tailored to reflect the wide spectrum of topics and research interests shared among the organizing entities. This collaboration will be oriented towards advanced research in adaptive systems which constitutes the highlights of the NEWCAS conference, but also areas related to analog and digital signal processing, low power consumption, sustainable circuits, and systems.

A Young Professional (YP) track for early career researchers and post-graduate (PG) students will be offered. Both YP and PG students are encouraged to submit a two-page paper for the YP session. The submission deadline is 17th March 2023. All accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.

Prizes for best posters and papers will be presented by YP and female researchers to encourage attendance.

IEEE Connecting Experts webinars by IEEE Young Professionals - July 2020

Building on successful May and June editions, and provided feedback, we are now bringing you five webinars in July on topics of Entrepreneurship and Technology. The program has grown largely since the beginning and we are now hosting our first IEEE Distinguished Lecturer.

The program is also extended by additional collaboration of several local, regional and global IEEE organizational units: IEEE Young Professionals Turkey, IEEE Young Professionals Norway, IEEE Standards Association, IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and IEEE R8 Entrepreneurship Initiative

IEEE MELECON 2020 will be live-streaming "Special meeting on Innovative startups and entrepreneurs" - event structured in two panels dedicated to entrepreneurship financial and institutional supports and to examples of successful startups.

How it impacted the European power grid, challenges that it caused and what is expected in the nearby future you can find in our next talk by Ana Cigarán Romero, a senior Policy Advisor for the Operation of the European Energy System at 50Hertz, and Chair of IEEE Region 8 Women in Engineering.
