Publishing Opportunity for New Writers

We are looking for students to help maintain the Entry 2011 page. Is there anybody out there that would like to contribute in this voluntary role?

1. You would need to post events, news items and other information, specific to your year group.
2. We need somebody responsible and student focused
3. We'll need you to send us your name email address and a statement on why you should be the next administrator for the Entry 2011 page. The statement will appear on the Facebook Notes feature, for other students to vote and comment on. You can send your statement to: [email protected]

You'll help to make sure this page is meeting the needs of the students in this year group. All applicants welcome.

We'll provide support and training and an over view of how Aberystwyth University use social media but we are very interested in this becoming a self-run page, managed and maintained by students who came in 2011 for students in this year group. We'll consider more than one administrator and you can apply in pairs, if you like!

The fundraising initiative of students at Aberystwyth University has come to the fore once again this week as representatives from Aber Rag presented a cheque for £3,500 to the charity Tŷ Hafan. Very well done!

A reminder that the CES Public Lecture/ Darlith Gyhoeddus CAE: ‘The Case of EU aid in an age of austerity’ will take place today at 2pm.

Mr Stephen Crabb, conservative MP for Pembrokeshire, will be discussing the impact of EU aid on domestic politics and policies during the challenging circumstance of the Eurozone’s financial crisis.
