If you feel the need to get in out of the sun today for a bit, please consider calling in to the wonderful Footprints of Memory exhibition at 1 Laura Place. The exhibition - which finishes today - is a haunting reminder of the human costs of both the failure of states to adequately respond to criminal and political violence, and of the violence perpetuated by the states themselves.

If you're eager to learn a bit more about space strategy and warfare ahead of next week's lecture, have a listen to this interview Dr. Bowen did with the Dead Prussian podcast a few weeks ago - it'll be of particular interest to any Clausewitz fans. And expect plenty of Star Trek and Star Wars references!
