A couple of new papers are out from CfG Emeritus Professor Mike Hamberry, which provide a new approach to numerical modelling of structures in glaciers, including crevasse and foliation. These papers include data from fieldwork on Trapridge Glacier, Yukon, followed by innovative modelling by Garry Clarke. Trapridge Glacier is unusual in that it experienced a 'slow surge' that ended in 2005.
