BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science Lancaster Campus

This course has been developed with the North West Ambulance Service to support the increasing need for paramedics within the Northwest. For this reason, once qualified, students will be offered an interview for a paramedic role within Northwest area

This course is not the first HCPC paramedic programme this university has delivered. The current pr

ogramme team have successfully delivered military and other paramedic programmes that have educated many HCPC paramedics over the past years. These students are now working across the UK in a number of different ambulance services. Alongside this, the university has delivered post graduate education for paramedics for over 10 years with BSc and MSc top ups. The University of Cumbria has developed this course to educate students that are ready to work in a wide range of Paramedic roles within the NHS and wider healthcare sector.

Last week our 3rd year undergraduate Paramedics were clinically challenged with a number of trauma scenarios!!! Supported by the volunteers acting as casualties. It won't be long before they graduate!!
