nt Further Education (CIFE) and accredited by the British Council. Bath is an exquisite Georgian city situated in the South-West of England. With its fine architectural treasures and rich diversity of museums, galleries, gardens and attractions, it is a busy, successful university town with a thriving and vibrant community, which has much to offer to students both socially and academically. There is a year-round variety of festival, theatre and music events. Bath is a modern city with some of the best quality independent shops, and over 150 restaurants and cafés. There are plenty of sporting and cultural activities available locally to balance the pressures of study, and the River Avon which flows through the city provides excellent walking, boating, fishing and cycling opportunities. Bath is located only one and half hour from London by train and is well served by road and rail networks.

🎉 You may remember Conrad from last year, when we celebrated his incredible A-Level results of A* A A in Chemistry, Biology and Maths!

Having technically finished his A-Levels with us last September, Conrad had one more exciting chapter to complete - applying to top medical schools earlier this year. 🩺📚

We’re delighted to share that all his hard work has paid off, and Conrad has secured his place at Russell Group University, at Newcastle University, to study Medicine! 🎓🩺

Conrad was also an excellent student rep during his time at Bath Academy, and last year he told us how much he enjoyed our “overall environment”, particularly our small class sizes and engaging teaching. 💬

It’s fantastic to see that the dedication and determination we celebrated last year has taken Conrad one step closer to his dream of becoming a doctor. We couldn’t be prouder and wish him every success as he begins this exciting next chapter! 🌟💙

🎉 A huge congratulations to Morgan on an incredible set of A-Level results - AAB 🌟

Morgan has improved his grade profile by an amazing three grades, a fantastic achievement that reflects his hard work, determination and commitment throughout his time at Bath Academy. 📚💪

His outstanding results have secured him a place at Russell Group University, the University of Bath, to study Physics - a brilliant next step and one we’re incredibly proud to see him take. 🎓⚛️

A-Level Results Day can bring celebration, relief, disappointment - or a heady mixture of all three.

But whatever is on that piece of paper today, it doesn’t have to define your future.

If your results haven’t gone the way you hoped, there is another route. At Bath Academy, our students come to us to resit, refocus, and give themselves another chance to reach the university, course, and future they had imagined.

We’ve seen time and time again just how much can change with the right support, small classes, and the determination that you can achieve more.

Last year:

• 92% of our A-Level students secured a place at their first-choice university
• 60% progressed to Russell Group universities
• 23.3% of grades were A/A*
• 14 out of 17 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate
• We have a track record of impressive uplifts in resit grade profiles (last year one of our resit students, Charlotte, improved by a huge 6 grades across her profile)

After 24 incredible years at Bath Academy, it's time to say thank you and farewell to John Desmond. 👋

For more than two decades, John has been a dedicated colleague and important touchstone in the college, making a lasting impact on generations of students and becoming an integral part of the Bath Academy community. His passion for education, languages, kindness and unwavering commitment will be greatly missed.

As John begins his next chapter, he has reflected on his time at the college in a heartfelt blog, sharing memories, lessons, and the people who made his journey so special. You can find this blog on our website.

BATH ACADEMY ALUMNI 🟠⚪

Such a pleasure to have Parsa visit us last week! 🙌

Parsa came to Bath Academy from Iran's Allameh Helli School (National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents) to study our two year A-Level programme with the goal of getting into a prestigious British university.

He worked hard and with the help of our tailored teaching programme he achieved his goal and secured a place at Russell Group University, University of Southampton, to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Parsa's grade profile when leaving Bath Academy was A*A*A B in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and Biology. Parsa is loving university-life and we wish him all the best as he nears the end of his first year.
