We’re excited to announce the QUB Law Society Annual Novice Moot 2025 – our first competition of the academic year!
This competition is open to all law students (any year, any degree) who have not previously mooted competitively in the UK or Ireland.
You can enter as a team with a partner, or register individually and be paired up at random.

ii. Your QUB email address(es)
Why participate? It’s a fantastic chance to apply your legal knowledge in a courtroom setting, gain practical advocacy skills, and connect with practicing barristers and solicitors. Plus, there are cash prizes to be won.
Key dates:
Registration deadline: Fri 24 Oct (5pm)
Workshop (with a solicitor & barrister): Mon 11 Nov (Teams)
Preliminary rounds: Wed 12 Nov (online)
Finals: Thu 13 Nov (Moot Court)
