Proudly affiliated to the Royal College of Radiologists, the QUB Radiology Society is an academic society at Queens University Belfast created with the aim of increasing awareness about a career in radiology among medical students. The Radiology Society was founded to act as a domain for students who are interested in Radiology to gain knowledge within the field and also provide themselves with po

tential career-building opportunities in Radiology. It is also to increase awareness on the importance of Radiology as a medical discipline as most students tend to overlook it and may only discover its usefulness and attractiveness as a career midway through their specialty training in other fields. Queen’s Radiology Society will aim at providing basic radiological teachings together with Queen’s to help students attain a basic understanding and ability to read and report basic radiological films as required by a junior doctor.
