Dv8 Sussex is the place for young people who want to get ahead in creative industries. We're the bridge between work and education through high quality, employer led training that inspires, empowers and connects people, providing opportunities to progress in learning and work. We offer free courses to young people aged 16-18 in Music Production & Performance, Media Production and Games Development

Our Music students recently attended The Great Escape Festival Conference, where they heard from some of the biggest voices across the music and creative industries. 🎶

The day was packed with inspiring talks, panels and insights from organisations including BBC Introducing, Youth Music, AWAL, UK Music, BPI, War Child, CALM, Ticketmaster and more.

It was a great opportunity for our students to gain industry insight, take part in important conversations and learn about professional development. They even got the chance to meet Radiohead guitarist, Ed O'Brien!

We had the pleasure of welcoming IntoUniversity last Friday to deliver a Employability Skills workshop to our Level 3 Year 1 students.

The session covered practical tools, such as CV writing (spotting a good CV vs a bad CV), how to present yourself to employers and interview skills and techniques. 🌟
