Absolutely proud of my students yesterday! 📚👏

After sitting their English Literature exam, they came out over the moon about the question and feeling really positive about how they performed. Seeing their confidence and excitement after all the hard work, revision, and preparation has been amazing.

Moments like this remind me why teaching is so rewarding — helping learners believe in themselves and seeing that hard work pay off 💫

Proud to share the progress made with Billingham Boxing Academy’s Alternative Provision, which I was asked by the academy to set up and develop.

We are now officially on the Stockton framework, have successfully completed our quality assessment, and are currently awaiting the final report following a few amendments.

We are also in the final stages of becoming a Pearson exam centre, allowing us to offer recognised qualifications alongside the support and opportunities we provide to young people.

A lot of hard work has gone into building this provision and creating an environment that supports engagement, development and positive outcomes through education and boxing.

Exciting times ahead 👊

As exam season begins next week, I just want to send a huge good luck to all of my students.
I’m especially proud of my 5 Year 11 students who have been working incredibly hard in both Maths and English. Their dedication, resilience, and determination to succeed in life has been inspiring to watch.
The late evenings, extra practice, and moments of self-doubt are all part of the journey — and they’ve continued to push through every challenge.
No matter what happens, I hope they remember how far they’ve already come. Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and give it your best shot.

Very impressed with my two higher students who have improved from their 4 grade in a previous mock to one getting a 5 and the other 3 marks off a 6 - hard work pays off 💪
