Raising aspirations and providing opportunities for students to reach their potential is a fundamental part of the vision at Bede Sixth Form College. The college offers a variety of A level and A level equivalent courses, T Levels and apprenticeships as well as full-time opportunities in Sport and Public Services. The College has also introduced some higher education courses for adult learners in

the legal sector. Supporting sporting excellence, Bede is a TASS accredited college, with a dedicated sports centre situated on its site in Billingham.

Thank you to Acklam Grange and St Michaels School for attending our Schools Sports Academy Programme over the last academic year.

Students took part in various activities delivered by our ISE Academy coaches, allowing students to experience the academy offer and what they should expect to see as an ISE scholar at Bede Sixth Form.

Well done to everyone involved, you are all a credit to your schools and we can't wait to welcome you again in the near future!

As part of their Leadership in Sport module or Year 13 Sports Coaching students have been working with local feeder school St Michaels, delivering 6 sessions in netball, cricket, dodgeball, football, basketball and volleyball.
Our learners have specifically chosen the age group who they would most like to work with linked to their career aspirations.

Well done to everyone involved you have demonstrated dedication, patience and a genuine passion for your course which is evident in your enthusiastic attitudes to your work.

We recently welcomed Steven Liggett Senior Research Project Manager at South Tees Academic Centre for Surgery and Catherine Reading Professor and Director of CPD and Professional Development at Durham University to the launch of our Bede Science Conservatoire.
Steven and Catherine gave a key notes speech to year 11 students who are interested in being part of the BSC. They spoke passionately about the sector and inspired both students and staff at the event.

We were also delighted to see so many aspiring scientists taking part in the various workshops and hearing from our key note speakers.
We hope you enjoyed your evening with us and look forward to welcoming you to enrolment in August.

In celebration of International Nurse's Day, we invite you to take a look around the fantastic facilities we have here at Bede Sixth Form for all of those students aspiring to work in the health and care sector. Tours are available with our student recruitment officer Demi, which can be scheduled around your school hours and revision commitments.

Studying an A level in Biology or an A level Equivalent such as Health and Social Care or Human Biology will help you get on the right path to success.
