We had a wonderful time meeting and talking to all of our new international students at Curzon on Tuesday! ✨ We will be stationed at the Mary Seacole Campus for Wednesday 9th of September from 12pm to 3pm. Today, on International Dog Day, we're shining a spotlight on our canine friends from the BCU Library Pet Board ! ❤️🐶✨

We love looking at our pet board to pick us up when we're having a bit of a ruff day!
Thank you to all our cute fluffy friends for always being there for us. Their unconditional love and companionship helps us stay pawsitive!🐾

ICYMI Curzon Library is currently showcasing a wide range of books on South Asian culture this July for South Asian Heritage Month. We have everything from comics to fiction to photobooks to social commentary, and that's only a fraction of what we have available in our wider collection!

Here at BCU we are immensely proud of the diversity within our university and we always strive to reflect our wonderfully diverse community in our collections and continue our commitment to championing awareness and representation in our libraries ❤️

I'd completely forgotten that BCU Library isn't just full of academic books you can borrow fiction too! ✨ From BookTok favourites to bestselling reads, we've got spinners packed with great books waiting to be discovered.

Can't see the book you're after? No problem! You can request we buy it through the Items Not in Stock page on the Library website. Happy reading! 💙

Have you had a chance to take a look at our Pet Board? 🐱🐶✨

It's located on the Ground Floor of Curzon Library and features many of our staff's fabulous furry, feathered and even scaly friends! 🐔🐍

If you are a BCU student and would like to show off your pet too, we are running a 'Pet of the Month' feature. Send us a photo of your pet along with their name to our Instagram to be in with a chance to get your pet featured on the board. You can add some brief words to let us know why your pet deserves this very coveted and prestigious title!

Did you know the Benjamin Zephaniah Resources Room at the City Centre campus is now officially one year old? 🐣

It's been just over a year since Library and Learning Resources opened the Resources Room that houses our Education and Teaching Practices collections!🥳✨

And it's not just books that you'll find at the Benjamin Zephaniah building, we've also got bookable study spaces if you're looking for somewhere nice and quiet to work - you can find the link to our booking page here - https://www.bcu.ac.uk/library/services-and-support/book-a-space
