The gallery is travelling to Argyll this week, with visits to Oban High School, Tarbert and Islay High School planned, in partnership with Youth Arts Argyll .
We'll be open to the public at Templar Arts and Leisure Centre on Wed 9th Sept and Islay High School on Fri 11th Sept, details of opening times are on our website if you'd like to come and visit.

🔧 Join Our Team at Islay High School! 🪵

We’re looking for a Technical Technician to support our workshop and help students build practical skills, confidence, and a brighter future.

This is a hands-on role in a busy woodwork environment, working alongside staff and students to keep the workshop running safely and smoothly. You’ll play an important part in supporting learning, maintaining equipment, and helping young people develop real-world skills.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supporting practical lessons in the workshop
- Maintaining tools, materials, and equipment
- Promoting safe working practices
- Helping create a positive, supportive learning environment

If you’re practical, organised, and passionate about helping young people succeed, we’d love to hear from you.

Instrumental lessons were due to commence on Monday 24th August, with Band starting on Tuesday 25th August. Unfortunately, both will be delayed further.
