Do you want to develop your conservation skills and gain valuable practical countryside experience? If so we have the perfect opportunity for you.
We are still looking for two full time volunteers to join our team of rangers and assist with their daily tasks across the Brecon Beacons and Monmouthshire. We are looking for a volunteer uplands ranger to work with our access team, in particular on footpath repair work, as well as a volunteer conservation ranger to assist a varied role of maintenance, survey and monitoring work.

Our HND Agriculture students had an excellent visit to a local pig producer. Very interesting visit, think some of our students might want to go into this industry in future, based off of today's experience

Breaking the sod: The tractor was in ploughing what will be our trial crop field! Gareth Williams, a local farmer, brought his plough and tractor in, and gave the students a talk on the technique, and took some students into the cab to have a go.
