Opened in 2017, Kings Brighton is a state-of-the-art international school offering both English language courses and academic pre-university courses in the heart of Brighton. For academic students, GCSE, A-level and Foundation courses are available with start dates in September and January. Kings Brighton students will benefit from expert teaching and lots of personalised attention due to the very
small average class sizes. Outside of class, students will have the opportunity to take part in a varied academic enrichment programme with activities on offer including sports clubs, Debate Club, Student Council, Kings Enterprise, and much more. All students are assigned a dedicated UCAS Counsellor to provide one-to-one guidance throughout the university application process. We also have additional specialist university preparation programmes for students aiming for Oxbridge or Medical schools. Our academic programmes have a proven track record of success, with Kings students having been accepted to each of the UK Top 30 universities in the past. We also have close partnerships with universities including Bristol, UWE, Kingston, and a number of medical schools to offer guaranteed pathways to these prestigious institutions for Kings students. English language programmes for adult students aged 16+ are also available year-round at Kings Brighton. Choose from Intensive or Compact general English, or specialist options such as exam preparation (IELTS or Cambridge English) and English Plus Digital Marketing. Our English courses are available with weekly start dates and suitable for students of all language levels, nationalities, and backgrounds. We're proud to welcome students from both the local area and from many other countries around the world to offer all our students a truly international educational experience. School facilities include an on-site cafeteria; art studio; science labs; Computer Learning Centre; bright and welcoming reception area; bike storage; well-equipped classrooms with interactive whiteboards; outdoor courtyard space; and a high-end on-site student residence offering single en suite bedrooms. As well as the on-site residence, alternative accommodation options are available for students who need it including two student houses within 15 minutes' walk of the school, and a brand-new purpose-built residence offering single en suite bedrooms a stone's throw from Kings Brighton which will open in September 2021. Homestay accommodation, living with a local family, is also available. The school is located in the vibrant and student-friendly London Road area of the city, within easy walking distance of the North Laine shopping area, the seafront, and Brighton train station. Shops, cafes, banks, pharmacies, a gym and the Level park are all accessible within 5 – 10 minutes on foot.
