This role will be responsible for all day-to-day clinical case coordination, including being the first point of contact for external stakeholders.

🐴 Meet Fiona – Our Equine Vet Nurse 🩺

As part of Veterinary Nurse Month, we’re proud to introduce Fiona, a valued member of our equine team whose dedication and passion for animal care shines through every day. 💙

Fiona qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008 after beginning her journey with us as a Saturday girl in 2003. After leaving school, she studied at Duchy College whilst working at Penmellyn Vets.

Over the years, Fiona has worked across many departments within the practice but always knew her passion was equine nursing. In 2021, an opportunity became available at Penmellyn Equine, and in 2025 she achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Equine Nursing with distinction. 🎓

Fiona is passionate about ensuring the very best care for our clients’ beloved ponies, horses, and donkeys. 🐴

Outside of work, Fiona’s three children keep her busy with pony club activities and rugby matches — alongside trying to find time to ride her own horse!
