It was fantastic to connect with so many alumni and employers at the Green Careers Festival and gain real insight into what it’s like to work in a green role.

We caught up with Maya Hodgson, Cambridge grad, who completed a BA in Geography followed by an MPhil in Environmental Policy before launching her career in
sustainability.

She’s now an Assistant Transport Planner at KMC Transport Planning, helping shape more sustainable transport systems.

Join us for an inspiring discussion as actor, writer, and Cambridge alumnus Bilal Hasna sits down with cultural historian Diarmuid Hester to explore the art of performance and the realities of building a career in today’s film and TV industry.

Bilal is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary screen and stage, known for his roles in Black Mirror, Slow Horses, Extraordinary, Dead Hot and The Agency, as well as his acclaimed feature film debut Layla.

This event is part of the Creative Careers Festival and is co-organised with Queen’s College, Cambridge and the LGBTQ+ arts society Queen’s For Qu**rs.
