Hughes Hall, Cambridge Welcome to the official page for Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge.

Founded in 1885, Hughes Hall is the oldest graduate college in the University of Cambridge. Today the College welcomes applications from postgraduate and mature undergraduates (over 21) for all subjects. Two-thirds of our students come from outside the UK, and our alumni represent 116 nationalities. Hughes Hall has a particular interest in areas where academic study impacts the wider world, notabl

y education, law, business, biomedicine and engineering. We also welcome students on the full range of Cambridge University courses, enjoying the academic diversity and the many opportunities for learning from other disciplines. Located on a fine site overlooking the University cricket ground, between the heart of Cambridge and the train station, Hughes Hall provides good accommodation and food, and a lively, friendly, cosmopolitan environment for study.

A special day for women’s cricket is coming to Cambridge this month 🏏

Everyone is welcome to watch the Afghan Refugee Women’s cricket team at Fenner’s on Saturday 27 June for two Twenty20 matches:

Match 1 – 10.30am:
Afghan Refugee Women v UK Armed Forces Women

Match 2 – 3pm:
Cambridge University Cricket Club Women v Afghan Refugee Women
