We're still thinking about our Aspire Liverpool residential from last month! Here are some more photos - including our visits to The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, and Magdalene College . We're especially missing our Student Ambassadors - who led some wonderful mock supervisions for their courses!

Great to see one of our 2026 Young Researchers Course Leaders showcased! Omar led a course titled "Sick of Waiting: How Hospital Environments Make People Feel" for a group of Year 10 students, who then presented their own research at Fitz in April.

Young Researchers 2027 will be opening for applicants in October - watch this space!

Last week we welcomed Aspire Liverpool to Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge for their Year 10 Summer Residential! As part of the trip, we asked students to share their favourite photos from our outings across the city - with our 10 favourite shared to our socials. This week we've been delighted to welcome Year 9s and Year 12s from Swindon Academy United Learning for their Summer Residential! This both concludes the programme for the Year 12s, who completed their research projects in Spring Term after working with Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge student mentors, as well as welcoming the Year 9s who will be beginning their own journey with us next January, working on an annual project in Years 10, 11, and 12.

As part of the residential, we visited Trinity College, The Museum of Classical Archaeology, and the Marshall Library, as well as enjoying a wonderful Formal Hall in the Fitz Buttery!
