A quick glimpse into the International Association of Forensic Sciences Triennial Conference 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria. 🔬📚

Colleagues from the University of Greenwich (Sophie Turfus), University of Kent (Katy Bruce and alumna Grace Cornell), and Canterbury Christ Church (Mary Makinde), came together to explore the full breadth of forensic science disciplines.

The conference opened with an inspiring address from a Bulgarian pilot, who highlighted the importance of teamwork and communication as the foundation of success.

✨It was fantastic to see the three Universities at Medway united by a shared passion for forensic science.

Why choose a Science Degree Apprenticeship with us?

With a degree apprenticeship, you’ll combine study with real-world experience from day one. You’ll be employed and work up to four days a week, while dedicating at least one day to studying at university to participate in lectures, practical activities and more with your fellow apprentices.

Our Scientist Degree Apprenticeship is an industry-led programme designed to train you as either a Chemical Scientist or a Biological Scientist, preparing you for a wide range of careers across industry.

One of the biggest advantages? You’ll earn a salary while you learn, with your employer covering your tuition and significantly reducing the cost of going to university.
