A fantastic start to induction for our new 2026–27 trainee cohort!

Last week marked the beginning of their journey towards becoming qualified teachers, with induction continuing this week as trainees settle into the programme, meet the CTTC team and get to know one another.

As part of induction, trainees took part in a wellbeing session led by Jo Morton-Brown from Flourish, helping to ensure they feel supported and equipped for the year ahead.

We’re looking forward to working with our new trainees and supporting them throughout their training year!

CTTC is delighted to announce a new partnership with the University of Suffolk to deliver the Initial Teacher Training elements of the BA (Hons) Childhood: Primary Education with QTS from September 2026.

This exciting development will see CTTC supporting aspiring primary teachers throughout their undergraduate journey, combining high-quality teacher training with extensive experience in schools.

✨ Congratulations to the CTTC Class of 2026! ✨

Last night we were delighted to celebrate our incredible trainees at our annual End of Course Celebration Evening.

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise a year of hard work, dedication and achievement alongside families, friends, mentors, partner schools and colleagues.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our trainees throughout their journey. Your encouragement, expertise and commitment have helped shape the next generation of teachers.

To our Class of 2026 - congratulations! We are immensely proud of you and can't wait to see the positive impact you will make in classrooms this September.

Today marks the end of the training year for our wonderful Primary and Secondary trainees. Huge congratulations to you all 🎉

🔬 Train to Teach Science While You Earn! 🔬

One of our fantastic partner schools is looking to recruit a Science Apprentice Teacher for September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to gain QTS whilst earning a salary and training in the classroom from day one.

The Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship route is designed for graduates who already have some experience working in schools and are ready to take on significant classroom responsibility from the start of the course, including teaching classes independently.

This route offers the chance to:

✨ Earn whilst you train
✨ Teach in the classroom from the very start
✨ Gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✨ Receive high-quality training and support from CTTC and experienced school mentors
✨ Train in a supportive and ambitious school environment

This opportunity would suit graduates with a Science degree (or related subject) who are passionate about teaching and ready to begin their teacher training journey in September 2026.

Our weekly face-to-face training allows trainees to connect and share their experiences with their peers. It’s a real highlight of the week to see trainees coming together, celebrating their successes, and watching those initial connections grow into lasting friendships.
