From first aid excellence and communication skills to marksman success and leadership awards, our cadets truly showcased their talent, dedication and determination🌟

Each award recognised the hard work and commitment our cadets bring to CCF every single week, and we couldn't be prouder!

This year's presentation day was a powerful reminder of the confidence, discipline and teamwork our CCF programme inspires, and it was one to remember!

QE student goes from strength to strength 🏋

Daniel has been celebrating international success, bringing home gold and silver medals at prestigious Kettlebell Lifting tournaments 🌍

Introduced to the sport at his local gym, Daniel has already represented England at both the World and European Championships, all while studying Maths, Applied Science and Geology at QE.

With his dad Darren by his side in competition, every victory is even more special 💪

Committed, driven, and already looking ahead to the next World Championships in Latvia this November, we couldn't be prouder of Daniel as he continues to represent both his country and QE👏

🎶Music Journalism workshops at Sunderland University

Students from our Media Studies, Creative Media, and Pop Music courses headed to Sunderland University for an unforgettable deep dive into the world of music journalism🔥

From attending an exclusive show by a Radio 1 Big Weekend act to learning how journalists review gigs and albums, they gained real insider knowledge of the industry, alongside a tour of Sunderland University's media facilities👀

The day included inspiring talks from Emma Millen (BBC Local Radio host) and Jordan Blyth (BBC Radio 1 Indie Show presenter and former Rock Show host), offering valuable advice on breaking into the media and making your voice heard📻✨

Students also visited the Northern Academy of Music Education to explore how artists and bands can get their names into wider media outlets, with the opportunity to stay and watch local bands during soundchecks and gig preps ahead of the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 🎸

Opportunities like this offer creativity, insight, and hands-on experiences to help spark the next generation, and it was amazing to see our students buzzing with inspiration, motivation, and excitement⭐
