Freshers’ Fair 2026 kicked off at The Roundhouse today and new students were introduced to the vast array of opportunities in their reach, speaking to some of the country’s largest employers and businesses we work with regularly to provide work experience, placements and ultimately career opportunities.

They were also able to get familiar with student support areas like our Deaf Access Team, Learning Support Team and Resilience Team who are here to help whenever they are needed.

Thank you to everybody who came and made the day so special, Broomfield Hall students, we’re coming to you tomorrow! Be sure to attend at your allocated slot and make the most of it.

Joseph Wright Centre student Miriam Campanu chose GCSE Plus as she wanted to improve her grades, to get to the next level of her learning journey.

She’s now decided to stay with us and take A-levels, with the aim of studying History at University.

Introducing our first Animal Unit Open Day of the year! 🎃🦇

Join us at Broomfield Hall on Sunday 18 October, from 11am - 3pm for a spooktacular day at our Animal Unit.

Activities and things to look forward to on the day include:

✅Animal handling
✅Animal feeding
✅Charity stalls
✅Information on Courses
✅Kids Craft Making
✅Refreshments

All supported and organised by our wonderful animal care students.

All the money raised goes towards improving the animal unit and the animal’s welfare and allows us to continue our expansion of the animal unit. Donations welcomed.

Please note: Tickets will be available on the door by cash or card.

Missed yesterday's Open Enrolment session?

We've got another one next Wednesday (9 September) from 4:30pm - 7:00pm for those who haven't made an application yet, have had a change of circumstances or don't know what their next step is and need advice and support.

Students can get guidance from our expert careers advisors and other support areas, speak directly to teachers, find and apply for a course, and enrol on the night, leaving campus ready for the new academic year with their student ID.

Adult learners are welcome too for our Adult Maths & English courses.

Please note: Places are limited and some courses may already be full. Where a course is unavailable, we’ll help you explore suitable alternatives or discuss waiting list options.
