'Firths and Fjords' was a conference held at the University of the Highlands and Islands' Centre for History (www.history.uhi.ac.uk), Dornoch, in 2016. It is now also a blog (www.firthsandfjords.com) and a network for those interested in Coastal History, specifically the history of inlet, voe, firth, strait, cove, estuary, fjord, bay, gulf and other communities situated along adjacent coasts.
