These include parades and performances at some of the units own functions, as well as joining the rest of the Scottish UOTC's Pipes and Drums for national and int
ernational events, such as the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh and Sydney, the Lord Mayor's Parade, and most recently, 'The Sword and the Crown - a military musical spectacular' on Horse Guard's Parade. We attend a competition each year, Exercise Northern Lights, where the four UOTC Pipes and Drums compete against each other in mini-band and solo events.
