📣 Following recent announcements in relation to COVID-19; South West College will reopen as planned on Tuesday 4 January for on-campus teaching and learning. Please check your college email for further information.
🔺 Lateral Flow Tests are a vital tool to help reduce the spread of the virus, and we would encourage you to carry out a Lateral Flow Device test at home twice every week, 3-4 days apart.
🔺 Please remember to stay at home if:
▪ You or someone close to you has symptoms
▪ You have been close to someone who has tested positive
▪ You are waiting on the results of a test
Even if you don’t have symptoms but have been close to someone who has tested positive you need to self-isolate for 10 days.
When returning to campus please remember that:
▪ Wearing a Face Covering (unless you have a medical exemption) protects you and others
▪ Social distancing reduces your chance of having to self-isolate
▪ Frequent handwashing, hand sanitising and good respiratory hygiene helps to stop the spread
🔴 Students, please remember in this difficult time that "It's Okay To Not Feel Okay and It's Good To Talk". Support is available to you via the ‘Inspire Students 24/7 Helpline’ on 0800 389 5362 and ‘Lifeline 24/7 Helpline’ on 0808 808 8000.
