🏆 Congratulations to two teams of civil engineering students from our School who won first and third place at a national model building competition earlier this month.

Edward, Miguel and Peter won first place, while Gareth, Alasdair and Alex placed third, at The Institution of Structural Engineers Student Model Competition held at the University of Dundee.

The teams had to build a tower with the highest load-to-weight ratio possible, using basic materials including balsa wood. The Edinburgh teams beat competition from students across Scotland.
