Let's set the records straight here! In ADC, the party wants a consensus method. Atiku Abubakar also wants a consensus method. Peter Obi however wants a direct primary method. This way, the people will determine who becomes the party's presidential candidate and not some few party executives.

For those who don't know, the new electoral law allows for only two options which are direct primary and consensus. The law has abolished the delegate method.

The advantage of the consensus method is that it's cheaper to run however it has a huge disadvantage which is that a candidate emerges by the decision of just very few party executives. The direct primary on the other hand allows every member of the party to participate in the primary thereby ensuring that the most popular candidate emerges.

The ADC and Atiku Abubakar want CONSENSUS while Peter Obi wants DIRECT PRIMARY.

Be the judge, who is more sincere and who is running away from primary?

Yesterday, I attended a deeply emotional and heartbreaking burial of three siblings, Stephen Onyeka Omatu, Casmir Nnabuike Omatu, and Collins Kenechukwu Omatu, the three young brothers whose lives were cruelly cut short in the Great Nigeria Insurance building fire in Lagos, Nigeria.

It is almost impossible to describe the depth of this tragedy. For days, these young men sent distressing pleas for help while trapped in the building, yet there were no emergency services to rescue them. Several days passed in the rubble before their bodies were finally recovered. Several days of unanswered calls, of a system that failed them at the moment they needed it most.

This is not just a personal loss for their family, it is a national loss. This tragedy should serve as a reminder that our emergency services must be improved and accessible to every citizen. We cannot continue like this. Every life matters, and no Nigerian should ever have to endure such neglect or be left to perish in such a gruesome way, while help could have been provided.

I pray that the souls of Steve, Casmir, and Collins find eternal rest, and that God grants their family the courage, strength, and comfort to bear this unimaginable grief. May we never forget them, and may we be moved to ensure such a tragedy never happens again.

The Drama of Rivers State House of Assembly

The Rivers State House of Assembly has initiated process to impeach the State governor, Sim. Fubara and his Deputy.

From the drama , Wike feels that the Speaker is fighting for him, but ironically, he is fighting for his own political interest.

The Speaker wants to be the governor.

If the impeachment works, he will become the substantive governor as the third in the state and have the constitutional right to contest since the impeachment is both for the governor and his deputy .

The question is,

Will the speaker Obey Nwike if at the end he takes up the leadership of Rivers? If the gentleman Fubara failed Nwike, what will happen if the arrog*nt Speaker takes the mantle of leadership?

THE COST OF MAINTAINING A FAKE LIFE.

Fake life is one of the most expensive lifestyles to maintain. It's very easy to start a fake life but very difficult to keep.

Have you ever thought of the cost of maintaining fake life? It's a life that once you start it, you will do everything to live according to it's standard or above it. No, you can't live below it else, you will mess yourself up.

Often, what comes out as a result of fake life can be unbelievable. A young boy has got to deny his very mother because his mother who came to visit him doesn't represent him as one coming from a wealthy family. A young man who spent his whole money to rent a car to please a woman now remains indoors and can't pick the calls of those girls anymore because he can't afford to rent the car again and wouldn't wish the girls to see him without a car. He honestly longs to be with the girls but unfortunately, he can't fund the lifestyle anymore. Sadly, the girls will disgrace him if they get to know he was faking his lifestyle.

Nothing pays more than being real. Fake life is mental slavery. It comes with many dangerous consequences. It's begets other social vices and can lead one to social atrocities.

Say No to Fake Life. Don't live your life to please another person. Be yourself. Be real and be honest
