We would like to invite you to join us for Researching the Future: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Care for an Ageing Population, an open access conference exploring how research can address questions of care for an ageing population.

The conference takes place on Monday 15 April, from 0900 to 1200, at the Larch Lecture Theatre in the Nucleus Building (Thomas Bayes Rd, Edinburgh EH9 3FG).

The conference will take place in person, and there is no fee to attend – but please register in advance, so that we can make sure the conference is accessible and inclusive for everyone. Please use our Eventbrite link to register now: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/researching-the-future-tickets-815560562597

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in care and ageing - whether you are bringing a personal perspective or a professional one; whether you are an experienced academic or a new student. We hope to provide a creative and welcoming space for conversation and dialogue about the big issues that matter to us, in the context of ageing and care. Please feel free to share this invitation with others who might be interested in the conference – all are welcome!

Members of the ACRC spent yesterday with Ray Baird and the team at Braid Health and Wellbeing in Livingston. Great opportunity to look around the care centre and understand more about how they are supporting people in later life. An excellent opportunity to learning more about the challenges faced by day care centres across the UK.

Thanks to Ray, Linda and the rest of the team
