This is a belated update🧡🧡🧡

🌸 Our society hosted an amazing event, the Edinburgh Intercultural Mindfulness Festival—Conscious Creation, from May 8–10, 2026, at the beautiful Salisbury Centre The Salisbury Centre

With the support of the Student Experience Grant at University of Edinburgh, we are proud to share that we raised a total of £609 through ticket and then we donated £500 via Global Giving GlobalGiving to the Bucha School Building Project Bucha School Support Fund for Bucha School in Ukraine. 🤲

The festival followed a threshold of heart consciousness on day 1, conscious living on day 2, and connected dreaming on day 3.

From OM chanting to sound healing, from Zen Buddhism to the Lotus Sutra and Tibetan Buddhism, from embodied movement, tea gathering, to the fire ceremony... every moment was a reminder that we are not separate, we are connected, and we are love. ✨

Deep gratitude to:
🧡 The entire Buddhism and Meditation Society committee and volunteers – Iris Iris Ping Huang , Tom, Ellie ellie , Maggie maggie , Aleks, Ashley Əşli , Manuela Manuela Rocha Ruiz , Artur, and our photographer Marta Marta Marocchi
🧡 The Student Experience Grant for making this possible. Vice president community Arkit .of.arkit for writing the support statement for us during the proposal stage
🧡 Every workshop leader – Katrin .de, John Marder, Edgar Pereira Semedo Edgar, Ooi Thye Chong, Tenzin Tenzin Choephel, Wenwei , Gordon Rainey, Tom, Manuela Manuela Rocha Ruiz, and our fire keeper Vlad , and every single participant! We are holding the space together!
🧡 Our venue, the Salisbury Centre , and our food partner, Himalaya Cafe Himalaya Cafe Edinburgh
Let's keep rippling this love out 🌊 and create Consciously. 🌱🌍🤗

You are all Amazing!😍😃
