At the end of the first year, Ecological and Environmental Science students, along with some Biology students, spent 10 days developing key Field Ecology skills!! 🌱
Β
We visited a range of sites and investigated topics including marine environments, habitat mapping and invertebrate ecology.Β
Β
This video is from a day where we investigated whether freshwater invertebrate abundance varied at different depths of a river at Glencorse Burn!! We found that the effect of depth varied depending on the order of the invertebrates. πŸͺ°πŸ¦—

This video shares a reflection of our experience on the BSc Geography field trip to Glenmore.

We shared our favourite moments, the knowledge we gained from this trip, and what we would carry forward to our next project knowing what we know now.
