🌏INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATION | WOMEN’S LACROSSE🥍

Next through passport control, Women’s Lacrosse. ✈️

This summer, Edinburgh was represented across two World Lacrosse Women’s Championships, with current athletes, recent club graduates and our club coach taking to the international stage for Scotland, Wales and South Africa.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Emily Hook represented Wales at the Division 1 Championship in Tokyo, while Annie Parker, current Edinburgh University Women’s Lacrosse Club coach, represented Scotland as an athlete. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🇿🇦 Sienna Davison represented South Africa at the Division 2 Championship in Wrocław.

Recent club graduates Rachel Watson and Grace Davison, who both graduated from Edinburgh in 2026, also continued their international careers this summer, representing Scotland and South Africa respectively.

Edinburgh’s connection to the Scotland squad stretched even further, with nine University alumni forming part of the delegation in Tokyo, including players and team staff.

From Edinburgh to Tokyo and Wrocław, another brilliant summer of international representation for our sporting community. 🌍🥍

More International Passports to come as we continue celebrating the students, graduates, coaches and officials representing their countries across the world.

🌍 INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATION | SWIMMING 🏊

This summer, Edinburgh students have taken their sport beyond the University, representing their countries on the international stage.
First to receive their International Passports are our swimmers, with nine Edinburgh athletes representing Scotland at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

From Commonwealth finals and Scottish records to five medals, including two golds, there was plenty to celebrate in the pool:
🥇 Faye Rogers | Gold, Women’s 200m Individual Medley SM10
🥇🥈 Stephen Clegg | Gold, Men’s 50m Freestyle S13 & Silver, Men’s 100m Freestyle S13
🥈 Ciara Schlosshan | Silver, Women’s 4×100m Medley Relay
🥈 Anna Morgan | Silver, Women’s 4×100m Medley Relay
🥉 Joshua Mitchell | Bronze, Mixed 4×100m Medley Relay

Alongside them, Archie Goodburn, Scott Gibson, Lucy Hope and Stefan Krawiec all represented Scotland, with finals, semi-finals and a Scottish record among their achievements.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be issuing more International Passports as we celebrate students from across the Sports Union who have represented their countries around the world this summer. 🌍
