A fantastic start to 2026! 🎉Congratulations to Prof. Dominic Campopiano, and PhD student Lisa Kennedy plus everyone involved on their recent Comment paper in Nature Portfolio Chemistry: 'Bringing biocatalysis into teaching labs.' Well worth a read, as it showcases how our students benefit from the innovative Chem4P course at The University of Edinburgh. Chem4P is a ten-week project in which fourth year undergraduate chemistry students carry out research in a chosen topic. For many it is their first exposure to a research environment. The paper highlights how we integrate into both teaching and practical labs for 4th-year students at University of Edinburgh School of Chemistry, enhancing their learning experience and future employability.
