Today, members of Lodge Royal Thistle (The Royal Scots) 1338 attended the annual wreath-laying at Rosebank Cemetery, Edinburgh to commemorate the Royal Scots soldiers who perished in the Quintinshill rail disaster on 22 May 1915.

We Will Remember Them.

A message from the Right Worshipful Master....

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made my installation a success. I was truly humbled and blown away by everyone's sentiments and best wishes. It was truly a magnificent day.
I was surprised to have in attendance many friends from within and outwith the province of Midlothian with many coming from Paisley, Aberdeenshire and Millport.

Once again I thank you all and promise to carry the lodges best interests forward the ensuing 12 months!

A very busy meeting this evening in Morningside.

Brothers John Wilson RWM 788, Robert Burns RWM 1063, Mark Billingham WSW 720 and David Mitchell WJW 788 were made honorary members of our fine lodge.

Also on the evening Brother Glyn Farrer MM No 5 was made an affiliate member.

We congratulate all new members once again and welcome to 1338

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank Brother David McCartney RWM for guiding and representing the lodge for the last 18 months. It's been a blast David!
