https://www.linkedin.com/company/cmvm-edinuni/ Following the core curriculum of the International Association for the Study of Pain, subjects have been designed to update and expand knowledge in the basic sciences, concepts and procedures of pain assessment and

management in a variety of human settings. The programme aims to educate clinical practitioners so they are better enabled to deliver improved patient care and clinical outcomes. The course is clinically relevant, informed by international research and covers the relevant basic sciences, concepts of pain, and clinical approaches and procedures for acute and chronic management of pain by multi-professional teams. This programme will equip students with the knowledge and skills to be able to manage pain more effectively in their professional environment and use the qualification to help drive career goals.

The meeting will be held this year at Glasgow Caledonian University, on Thursday 14 and Friday 15th September, and is now open for registration. We are looking forward to welcoming a range of speakers who should appeal to clinicians working within the broader Pain setting, as well as those who work within a PMP.
