Just stepped out of the Costume Design and Construction degree showcase at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. What a great show with so many very talented students making beautiful costumes for theatre and film. I know the names of many of these third and fourth year students, as I approved their proposals to manage a 12 week independent project. Today, I got to see those ideas come to life in an amazing array of colour and technical brilliance.

2nd year Digital Marketing & PR students at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh are developing strategic digital comms proposals for their wonderful client MADE in East Lothian. We use a range of AI software to help such as Semrush for SEO & GEO, PR MAX to draw up media distribution lists and ChatGPT to refine ideas.

Great morning at St George’s School, Edinburgh with Olivia meeting pupils and giving a talk on persuasive storytelling for our BA (Hons) Digital Marketing and PR degree. Very happy to visit schools and deliver interactive sessions on comms and storytelling. We also have a longer crisis management simulation that we run in schools for pupils taking Media or English Highers or Journalism contact [email protected]

Wonderful to see QMU PR and Marketing Grads bringing home awards. Huge congrats to Sian Downes Strawberry Lemonade Events

3/3 - never did we imagine when getting tagged in a random LinkedIn post in 2021 that would lead up to being triple award winners! Last night Sian from and Jay from picked up a (which is like a Scottish Tourism Oscar!!) for Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival!

This fest is proper grassroots based on social connection and hope- it truly deliver meaningful social impact all year long!

Spent a very interesting afternoon at AI in the third sector hosted by Lane - a Certified B Corp in St James Quarter. Really interesting speakers talking about how AI can help digital marketing,advertising and PR and a thought provoking discussion around the need to consider the ethics of using AI and developing guidelines around its use, transparency and trust.

Executed Renaissance: Tribute Exhibition
The exploration of rich yet tragic history of Ukraine’s Rozstriliane Vidrodzhennia (Executed Renaissance). The movement flourished in the 1920s–1930s but faced brutal suppression under Stalinist repressions. Through film, art, and storytelling, the event seeks to foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of Ukraine’s cultural legacy.
The event features:
the screening of "Slovo House: Unfinished Novel" (2017) by Taras Tomenko, a documentary exploring the lives of Ukrainian artists in the 1920s within the infamous “Slovo House”

a display featuring visual and literary works from key figures of the movement. The exhibition consists of a ‘memorial plaque’ of all those killed, persecuted, and emigrated; photographs of historical places and personalities; documents from the NKVD archives; drawings, caricatures, paintings, magazines, and almanacs published by representatives of the movement
