At graduation this year we bestowed an honorary degree to QMU postgraduate, Susan Black, former director of Comms at Liverpool FC. Susan served as Exec Director and Board Member of Liverpool FC Women and had a pivotal role in the club’s strategic approach to the women’s game. Her work supported their return to the Barclays Women’s Super League. Susan was also very involved in the LFC Foundation which has raised more than 8.5 million for community programmes. A very inspirational PR professional whose key message to our students is put the graft in and everything is possible, there are many paths to becoming a practitioner and be open to learning throughout your career
