The University of Edinburgh’s department of Asian Studies would like to invite submissions for a new working paper series: New Ideas in East Asian Studies.

The aim of this series is to provide postgraduate students with a venue in which to articulate new theories, methodologies and arguments that have the potential to take research on East Asia in new directions. Interdisciplinary investigations, novel theoretical or methodological approaches, new materials and work that takes a broader regional approach are all encouraged.
