Here's Ioana, our another brilliant Student Speaker. She is a third year Economics student from Romania, who is currently the School of Economics Convenor. In the past, Ioana interned with the London Stock Exchange Group and Romanian Ministry of Economy. She is going to deliver a speech about generosity and goodwill and how business can prosper through these. Positive influence via social media and Youtube are the main drivers of profit and vectors of a new type of movement. Thrilled to present our third Student Speaker - Andrew. He is a third year Economics & Politics student and the current Healthcare Sector Co-head at Edinburgh University Trading & Investment Club (EUTIC). He also co-hosts Edinburgh Political Union's weekly radio show called The Backbench. In his speech, Andrew will focus on how artificial intelligence is going to change the labour market through automation changes and higher requirements for the level of human capital and how we should tailor economic policies to fit this change.

Meet Christina our second Student Speaker!
Christina is a third-year Economics & Politics student and the current coordinator of EconPALS. Apart from her studies, she is involved with Edinburgh Finance Conference and the European Youth Parliament, where she represents Greece as a delegate. In her speech, Christina will highlight the need for interdisciplinary economics in academia through a reflection of her journey as a Greek citizen growing up during the economic crisis.

Our first speaker is Adrij, who is a postgraduate student in Finance and current course rep for Economics. He is going to discuss political and economics repercussions of President Trump policies and what future holds for the American economy.
