What will the future be like for creatives in the coming age of industrial creativity and AI?

Well we tried to find out in Welcome Week, by seeing what happens when poets meet Jazz Improvisors and DALL-E. The AI listened to the room and painted what it 'felt' on the big screen. (We really do lack the vocab for something that feels half alive!!).

Yesterday was a joy. We welcomed 26 prospective Media Arts students from Greenford Highschool. Their school motto is 'Learning to Succeed'. Come along to this masterclass in March and let Amanda Murphy tell you about StoryTrails. Her team of digital producers used smartphones and tablets, 3d scanning and Augmented reality to create the most democratic AR experience the UK had ever seen.

Join us for a postgraduate taster session, titled 'Bringing Histories to Life in 3-D'. In the session we will look at how StoryFutures producers transformed 15 cities in the UK into virtual portals through which to explore local stories of historical change, creating the largest Augmented Reality Cultural Experience the United Kingdom has ever put on.
