One day to go to our very first Golf Classic 🎉!

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet made a surprise call to our very own Eryn Kirkpatrick! Kate has been following Eryn's quest to encourage more cinemas to have Audio Description to enable visually impaired people to enjoy a cinema experience with their family and friends. Kate was the voice of The Faraway Tree audio books that Eryn had listened to. Having seen Eryn's campaign Kate contacted the film's producers and they arranged a call to show support and encourage Eryn. Kate Winslet is used to having her own fans, but she is definitely a fan of Eryn! Welll done Eryn!

Teenager Eryn, who has been blind since brith, made a three hour round-trip for a film screening because there was no local accessible cinema.

Our Year 12 and Year 14 students are ticking exams off their timetables and nearing the finish line. While some dates have filled them with dread, here's one date that they'll happily come to school for!
Friday 19 June, 1.30-3.20pm is our annual Leavers BBQ and Fun Activity afternoon. There's chat about an ice-cream van too...what's not to love! 🌭🍔🍦🍧
A lot of people in school are working behind the scenes to get some memory lane moments and activities for our leavers, as well as farewell gifts and treats. 🤩🥰🎉
Many in Year 12 will be back with us in September but for others, and those in Year 14, it's the end of an era. 😢We'd love to have you all together one last time! 🎓🌟📸
All in Year 12 and 14 can confirm their attendance via their Form Class Google Classrooms.

Yesterday we welcomed Rebecca from Young Enterprise Northern Ireland into school to deliver the Project Business programme to all our Year 10 pupils. Throughout the sessions, pupils had the opportunity to create and run their own jewellery businesses, gaining hands-on experience of what running a business is really like. It’s safe to say the future of local entrepreneurship is in very good hands!

Year 9 pupils, Samuel and Jessica, were on hand to help out at our car boot sale yesterday. After their tests finished, coming into school on a Saturday was hugely appreciated. 👏👏👏
Thank you to all who had table top stalls and to all who dropped by for a bargain! 💷
Our eco-council are grateful and are always looking for ways to help us be more sustainable in our school and homes.
