This event is open to all students who are passionate about international affairs and want to learn more about Chatham House and our work. Students will be able to interact with researchers and other staff members and gain an insight into careers within charity/not-for-profit sector as a whole.

The open day experience - what's involved?

Are you passionate about sustainability and making a change? ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™‹

UWC - Building A Sustainable Future are recruiting facilitators for our summer course! Entitled "Building a Sustainable Future", where they bring together participants from all over the world to explore sustainable practices, activism and pressing socio-political issues ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŒŽ Participants are usually from 15 to 20 years old. Facilitators shape their curriculum and deliver workshops throughout the course and are provided with facilitation training and support. This is an amazing opportunity to contribute to a transformative educational program while bringing your personal expertise/strengths. The commitment is about 1.5 months part time, including preparation and training, workshop delivery and post-course evaluation.

๐Ÿ“†The course itself takes place from July 5th to July 28th. While the camp takes place in Germany, they do not know yet if the course will be online or offline - stay tuned for updates!
๐Ÿ’ฐUWC are also able to cover expenses such as travel/housing costs if the course is offline or internet-related costs if the course is online.

โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš–๏ธ To celebrate International Womenโ€™s Day, Lawyers Without Borders Student Division at the University of Glasgow are hosting a virtual conference focused on Women in Law ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš–๏ธโš–๏ธ

They will be talking with legal professionals from a variety of backgrounds about their careers and experiences, offering guests the opportunity to ask questions before and during the event. All genders very welcome! Keep an eye on their social media for speaker announcements!
