Are you moving into halls this September?

Not sure what to expect or feeling a little overwhelmed about what to pack? Don’t worry, we’ve got you!

UofG student Julia (aka your halls fairy godmother) is here to give you a quick guide on what you can expect at a UofG Accommodation.

And remember, you don’t need to bring everything with you! You can pick up lots of essentials here in Glasgow once you’ve moved in.

Come and visit the Eco-Hub on campus, inside the Boyd Orr Building, where you can find second-hand items passed down by UofG students who have just moved out. They’ve got almost everything you could need; plates, mugs, cutlery, cookware, clothes, board games, and even plants!

We know that starting university can feel daunting, and it’s completely normal to have a few worries before you arrive.

Some of our current students share what they were worried about before coming to UofG, and how things worked out once they got here.

And remember, there are lots of friendly faces and support here whenever you need it. ❤️

Are you a student who is thinking about starting a business? Check out University of Glasgow Student Enterprise, our very own student startup hub! If you have a business idea or simply want to learn more about being an entrepreneur, this is the place to be.

UofG student Ryan has joined the summer start up program to learn and build his very own app, Dressa. What was originally just an idea is now becoming something real.

It’s been great to see so many people on campus for Open Day! Hope to welcome you to soon 💙

As an international student, moving away from home can be a big change, but in Glasgow there are plenty of ways to find community and stay connected to your culture.

UofG student Ridho celebrated Indonesia Independence Day in Glasgow with friends and the local Indonesian community, coming together to celebrate culture, food and community🇮🇩
