👏 Huge congratulations to Ellen Ramage-Jones who was recently awarded the 2026 Prince Philip Prize, having previously won the Hammermen of Glasgow Medal. Both awards recognise Ellen’s academic achievement, professional development, as well as contributing to the engineering community.

Ellen is a Degree Apprentice at Unilever and currently studying within the Department of Chemical & Process Engineering for her BEng Hons Degree Apprenticeship.

Ellen commented - “It has been an honour to represent both the University of Strathclyde and Unilever throughout this process…
“…This achievement reflects not only my own dedication and hard work, but also the support, encouragement, and guidance I’ve received throughout my apprenticeship and university journey.”
