A Statement from our Principal
After 35 extraordinary years in performing arts education at GAMTA the time has come for me to step down as Principal and retire, having sold the College last year.
When I founded the school in 1994, I could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead or the incredible community that would grow around it. What began as a vision has become a thriving College filled with talent, creativity, dedication and ambition.
It has been the greatest privilege of my career to work alongside such talented students, loyal and dedicated staff, supportive parents, and inspiring collaborators. Together we have built something very special, and I am immensely proud of what our community has achieved.
The past two years in particular have marked a remarkable chapter in GAMTA’s story. Achieving Degree status through our academic partnership with the University of West London, and securing our International Sponsorship Licence — allowing us to welcome exceptional talent and potential from across the world — are milestones that will shape the future of the academy for many years to come.
To every student and parent who has passed through our doors since 1994 — thank you for your trust, your creativity, and your belief in what GAMTA stands for.
I am incredibly proud to leave GAMTA in its strongest position to date, and in the safe and experienced hands of Unibridge as the College moves confidently into its next chapter — and I will always remain deeply proud to have been its creator and part of its story.
Thank you
Shaaron Graham
