The Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Strathclyde offers an impressive range of learning opportunities for adults of all ages. Whether you wish to learn new skills for work, improve or gain qualifications, pursue a lifelong interest or learn for personal pleasure, there should be something for you. Established over 30 years ago the Centre has built a reputation for flexible courses

. Adults are often busy with work, study, family and social commitments and our courses are designed to be accessible to all, with daytime, evening or weekend options, plus various online courses. We are specialists in the field of older adult learning and our Daytime programme aimed at the over 50s is one of the longest lasting and largest of its kind in Europe. For professional or degree level study, we offer a part-time access course, as well as postgraduate provision and many other CPD opportunities.

The CLL Art Exhibition 2026 showcased the incredible talent of our Learn 50+ students, welcoming over 200 visitors to CASS Art last month.
Guests enjoyed a diverse range of artwork and voted for their favourites in a closely contested competition, highlighting the outstanding creativity on display.
