Strathclyde University Muslim Students Association, more commonly known as SUMSA, is a vibrant and dynamic ISOC working to provide spiritual support service to students within the university. SUMSA Provides:

~ 5 Daily Prayers & Jummah

~ EPIC social events; in the past we have facilitated bowling, games console nights, quiz shows, talks, conferences, dinners, laser-tag, calligraphy, comedy nights

, treasure hunts, dodgeball tournaments and much more! (no idea is too small so pitch us yours and we will try out best to facilitate the event!)

~ A place to relax and socialise

~ A quiet study zone

~ Answers to your inquiries on Islam or in general on student life

~ Key annual events: Freshers Week, Charity Week Glasgow, Discover Islam Week, Islam Awareness Week

We are pleased to announce that this Friday, Salat al-Jummah and Taraweeh will be lead by Qari Omar Aswat, an award-winning Quran reciter and dedicated student at the Islamic University in Madina.
