Our ESOL provision helps students develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, build confidence in everyday communication, and prepare for further study, training and employment.

Our incredible careers advisor Amanda spoke to Jack Marriner-Brown on BBC Humberside. They chatted about first jobs, work experience, and finding opportunities for young people.

Parents and carers should definitely give this one a listen! Amanda shared some great advice for encouraging your young person to build their confidence and skills, whether through a paper round or volunteering. 🚲🗞️

We're proud to offer vocational courses that give young people the hands-on experience they need to be career-ready. Our employability team also provides endless support, guiding our students in developing those essential soft skills and preparing their CV.

Did you know your young person could be entitled to financial support to help with things like travel, meals, equipment and other costs associated with studying?

We’ve put together a quick guide explaining who may be entitled to support and what financial help could be available.

📖 Take a look through the guide, then have a chat with your young person about whether they could be eligible.

And remember, they can take the lead too! Students can enquire about financial support themselves, so encourage them to find out what help is available to them.
