Guildford School of Art was founded in 1930, and had considerable success with artists such as Elizabeth Frink studying here... it sadly faded over recent years and became part of Guildford College of FE and HE. Those of us who teach Fine Art, Textiles, Graphics and Photography have a mission to resurrect the school of art..

Artist Lorenzo Quinn (previously) just finished the installation of a monumental sculpture for the 2017 Venice Biennale. Titled Support, the piece depicts a pair of gigantic hands rising from the water to support the sides of the Ca' Sagredo Hotel, a visual statement of the impact of climate change
