Another great set of piano exam results this summer!

- Jemima passed her grade 6 with 76%
- Logan passed his grade 8 with 92% and is now working on his diploma.
- Peter passed his grade 7 with 92%
- Ellie passed her grade 7 with high merit!
- George passed his grade 4 with distinction.
- Cary’s passed her grade 3 with high merit!

A great set of exam results and 1 very proud piano teacher. Well done everyone!

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the summer!

Maestro Music School has now left Astec House and to see it so empty has been quite a shock. Thank you to all past and present students over 15 years for making Maestro Music school what it was, truly a magical experience I will never forget. Here’s to our new beginnings and I look forward to seeing you all after the summer holidays!

Hello everyone…

Unfortunately there is some sad news to bring to you. Due to plans with the building at our location, Maestro Music School will unfortunately be closing the doors permanently from the 23rd July 2022 (end of school year). It’s a really tough time… however all good things come to an end to let in new beginnings. All students have been contacted and new arrangements for lessons are currently in the works but during this time, unfortunately I am unable to take on any new students.

Thank you all for your continued support throughout the years and for all the memories we have made together. Maestro Music School has been running in the same location for 14 years and has been a privilege to have learnt there as a student myself since the age of 10 and to teach incredible students myself throughout the years. It has been amazing seeing children become young adults and inspiring musicians during this time, thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

More information to follow in the coming weeks.

What a fantastic time at the Hastings Music Festival over the last couple of weeks! All students have done so so well, beginners to advance players alike and I couldn't be more proud. A special mention to Peter who this afternoon performed with amazing talent which led him to be nominated to compete in the Hastings Young Instrumentalist of the Year this evening, playing beautifully in both performances!

Maestro Music School wishes all students and families a wonderful Christmas and a great start to the new year. Again, it’s been a bumpy year but that hasn’t stopped students doing amazing things, doing their exams and also progressing so much. I’m such a proud and happy teacher.

It’s with excitement that lessons will be restarting after the summer holidays as planned from the 6th September! I will be in contact with all students and parents regarding lesson times and shall aim to keep timetables as they were before the holidays!

Throughout such a worrying time for students over the past year they still have tried their hardest in their learning, not only in school but also with their added interests! Piano is a great passion for this student and is achieving great success at the small age of 12. Congratulations to Peter for yet another a great exam result!

Another lockdown showcase! There will be a few students sending me their pieces they have been working on over the coming week. They have all been working hard as usual and should be very proud of themselves. First is Jemima playing a grade 5 piece called New Orleans Nightfall!
