We watched the Hastings Campus graduates at their ceremony this morning on the Livestream - fabulous to see so many there, and well done to you all! Our favourite day of the year has arrived, the Hastings campus celebration of achievement! Well done to everyone who is attending today we are so proud of each and every one of you. Have a great time and all the library staff will see you there!!

The library closes permanently at 5pm today.

Thank you to all our users for all your support over the years - we have really enjoyed helping you achieve your goals, and wish you every success for the future.

Just a reminder – the library will close permanently at 5pm on Friday 21st June. You can still contact us via email at [email protected] (Hastings campus library in the Outlook address book) up until 30 August.

If you still need to borrow books use the Build Search function in the library catalogue https://capitadiscovery.co.uk/brighton-ac/home and select Location and Hastings Special Collection, then email us to arrange collection. Or use the postal loans service for books from the other university libraries – please see information on this and other library services in the Havelock Road lounge or on Studentcentral in my campus: Hastings.

All books can be returned to the book returns drop box in the Havelock Road student lounge, during building opening hours (8am – 6pm Monday to Friday) up until 30 August – Unicard access only.

Binding (for assignments and dissertations) is still available - please email us to make an appointment.

Computers and printing remain available in Havelock Road building – please see Opening hours here https://staff.brighton.ac.uk/is/Pages/Opening-hours.aspx?Campus=Hastings for all libraries and computer rooms at Hastings and the other university sites.

Well in fact it's goodbye weekends …Don't forget this is our last weekend open. We'll be here from 12-11pm Saturday and Sunday if you are strong enough to resist the lure of the sunshine!

Next week we will be open 8.45am -11pm Monday through to Friday 7th June.
